The Toyota company was founded just before the second world war in 1937, Founder, Kiichiro Toyoda, created the company as a spinoff of his father's company Toyota Industries. The primary vision of this new company was to create automobiles that would be efficient, affordable and very well built. Toyota started with an advantage in that in 1934 the parent company had already created what would become its first product, the Type A engine, and a little while later, its first passenger automobile, Toyota AA.
Today Toyota makes Cars, SUV's Hybrids MiniVans, Pickup Trucks, buses and Crossovers. They are known for their high quality vehicles, one's that retain great resale value and are enjoyable to own due to the remarkable trouble free ownership.
